Burrowing into the rock alongside one of the most significant archaeological sites on the Sorrento peninsula, the gorgeous Baths of Queen Giovanna (Bagni della Regina Giovanna) have been attracting bathers for centuries.Situated in an area of extraordinary natural beauty, this secluded triangular pool is protected from the open sea by a towering arch of limestone cliffs. Furthermore, it is only a short stroll from the ruins of a 2,000 year-old Roman Pavilion. So if you’re tight for time and need to combine sightseeing, history, archaeology and a day at the beach, you’ve come to the right place!To reach this tranquil bathing space, make your way to the tip of Cape Sorrento and head for the sloping coastal path that descends to the pool.
