"Stayed at The Clair for 3 nights recently. The front desk staff was very efficient and welcoming throughout the stay. The location was very convenient, and overall the hotel was fairly quiet — even being on the 3rd floor near the pool area, hallway noise was minimal. The hotel was renovated a few years ago, according to staff, and while everything appeared to be in acceptable condition from a maintenance standpoint, the overall design direction felt confused. "Great set up. Well stocked with what we needed. Unfortunately on the alley beside our room there is a metal grate covering a hole in the road which makes a loud banging noise every time a car runs over it. We and other couples who stayed there had difficulty sleeping due to this. "
