Hotel di Perkampungan Purba Hongcun

"Best hotel in China we have stayed! The room is spacious, well designed, staff really friendly. One of the staff picked us up on the day from the nearby attraction while it was raining and gave us a hot water bag to keep us warm. Breakfast and dinner are delicious, and they offer free laundry service too, recommended places to visit nearby for the following day. The hotel was originally a chinese ink making factory, and the room we stayed in was part of the originally design - they do daily...

"The room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, the service was good, and the breakfast tasted quite good as well. However, there was one issue that left me somewhat disappointed. After having breakfast one morning, I developed diarrhea. Although I cannot say for certain that it was caused by the breakfast, I did not eat anything unusual that day other than the breakfast, so I was concerned that it might have been related to the food, especially the desserts,...

"friendly staff. Nice local restaurant next door."

"Awesome hotel with nice view !! Highly recommended "

"Stylish, café-like atmosphere with great attention to detail. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were kind and spoke English, and their helpful guidance on Huangshan routes made my stay even better. Great value for the price—especially recommended for first-time visitors. Top-class service. I would definitely stay here again."

"Super price, great new and clean rooms, very nice staff! Also very easy to get to Huangshan Mountain South Gate. 100% recommend!"

"Management (?owner/operater) was rude and despite familiarity with 'translator' app a terrible communicator. Saving a 1* teview was the laundry and available (out of room) fridge. Perhaps it was a bad weekend...but smoking while talking at the front desk and 'cold-shoulder' vibes were annoying even considering cross-cultural differences! C'est la vie...but 'Choose your own Adventure' with this one!""

"Die Einrichtung des Hotels war insgesamt in Ordnung, alles sauber und zweckmäßig. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das sehr gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Man sollte jedoch beachten, dass die Kommunikation größtenteils über die App läuft, da nicht immer englischsprachiges Personal vor Ort ist. Für Reisende, die damit kein Problem haben, ist es ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Hotel."
