They go above and beyond to try and make your stay and visit to Thredbo special.. they let me gloves a hat and a toque to go up the mountain with – God did I ever need it! Lovely to see such a diverse group of people under the same roof and would have no hesitation to recommend it as a clean friendly and safe place to stay"

"Spacious, clean and renovated units. Amazing mountain views from our window and the shower was sooo refreshing! We had one king and two single beds to use. I found the beds were comfortable but the pillows were a bit soft."

"Everything was flawless in terms of check in, our host Juniper was very hospitable and provided us with a delicious breakfast and juice that was filling enough to get us through our day hike up the mountain and everyone we met at Pure Chalet was very friendly. "

"Dark and dingy breakfast area, smelt mouldy and needed light. Open the doors windows and let air into the place. Greeted by front office staff member with things on not a good impression. Place needs renovation and brightening up. The lounge off to the side of the main reception area smells like someone has died in there. Really bad smell couldn’t get out of there quick enough "

"The hotel is an old one that needs some maintenance and updating. Rooms are small and as others have mentioned one can hear complete conversations of your neighbors. On the plus side, the staff were friendly, and helpful, the food was great and it is located within walking distance to the Summit and Main Range trek. It is the only hotel open in the summer season in Charlotte Pass. All in all I would stay again. "

"Modern clean and we loved the fire place that dried clothes quickly from the washing machine in the cabin. We wished we’d had some tongs for food prep, however everything else was there that we needed for cooking. Great size fridge but a small dishwasher which is understandable and needs to be stacked back to front. A good walk into town that hugs the lake as you do. TVs in every room. We enjoyed our stay safe and secure. "

"Loved the whole place the husband and wife do a great job! The brekki was simple but great and was good to sit and eat with fellow guests and discuss our days plus the communal lounge and kitchen was so comfortable and quaint. "

"Terrible hotel. In your room, you will find a note demanding that you must empty your rubbish basket. You are also required to wash all cutlery and dishes before checkout, using a tiny sink measuring only 40 cm by 10 cm. The floor is so squeaky and bouncy that you can’t walk without waking people who are already asleep. The rooms are not soundproof at all, and the chairs on the balcony are dirty.
