"The hosts (Americans, who settled in France a few years ago ) were very kind and helpful. They speak French, English and Spanish. The husband - who is also the cook - proposes dishes typical to the area for the dinner. Nice location, terrasse, and pool. The rooms are nice, but I would prefer a wood floor rather than tiles."

"Plutôt déçu de ce séjour et voici pourquoi : Points forts : la quiétude du lieu, le paysage, le côté typique des gîtes, la localisation géographique pour les visites Points négatifs : chemin d’accès très étroit et rempli de trous, compliqué de retrouver sa chambre dans les différents gîtes présents dans le hameau car pas d’indications (il suffirait d’avoir un petit plan au niveau des parkings!), organisation médiocre (nom de la chambre pas reçu, idem pour le code de la boîte à clef). "Notre séjour a été trop court pour vraiment apprécier le logement. Néanmoins le ressenti général est bon avec juste une réserve concernant les commodités dont l'utilisation est un peu difficile pour quelqu'un de plus d'un mètre quatre -vingt. "

"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"Excellent accueil avec plein d’attentions très appréciables (chaussons et peignoir à disposition pour la piscine, biscuits et carafe d’eau fraîche tous les jours dans la chambre, cadeau de départ…). Chambre superbe et tout confort. Décor magnifique et petit déjeuner avec des produits de qualité. Bref, séjour parfait ! On ne peut que recommander vivement les Hauts de Gageac. Encore merci aux hôtes pour tout."

"Stéphanie et Fabrice sont de très bons hôtes et profitez d'un vol en mongolfière avec eux car Fabrice est un pro ! Nous avons fait un vol tout à fait mémorable dans un cadre spectaculaire. Leur maison d'hôte est très jolie, chaleureuse et suffisamment grande pour profitez de coins tranquilles en fin de fournée ! "Imagine two of your favourite friends opening a beautiful small hotel with perfect amenities in a memorable setting and that might begin to approach Aux Bories Marquay. Five stars do not do it justice. It is now my favourite vacation experience ever. The hosts are kind, gracious and thoughtful. Breakfast is perfect in every way. The memory of breakfast in the courtyard will sustain me through the cold Canadian winter. We look forward to returning next year. "
