"The room was exceptional - clean, comfy beds, nice decor. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hot tub was wonderful after a long drive, just wish it had been open a little later. The breakfast was pretty good. Had all the staples as well as a pancake machine, which made perfect and fresh pancakes every time!"

"I would definitely recommend Lodge & Lantern. What it lacks in amenities is more than made up by its cleanliness, quality and customer care. With only a 10 minute walk to Golden’s Downtown, it also means it’s in a quiet location, and very convenient for the Kicking Horse mountain resort."

" My only complaint was that the hot tub was not hot. Hardly warm. I had booked it specifically so I could relax in the hot tub after a long day driving. Other than that it was great. There is lots of parking, staff is friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable, and the breakfast very good, with a great view if you get a window seat. "

"What you expect for the price. Room was very clean though, had a microwave and fridge which we liked. Walking distance to pretty much anything in town. Felt safe and staff was very very friendly. Code is used to open your door which was nice so you don’t have to worry about a room key. "
