The promise from Expedia to send instructions on how to enter the property 48hrs beforehand did not materialise and needed a lot of chasing. Not what you need en route to the place you are staying. we eventually had to contact the property owner"

"Sehr schönes sauberes Zimmer, super Lage, super Ausblick. Kommunikation und Schlüsselübergabe tadellos. Die Treppe ist etwas steil und schmal aber prinzipiell kein Problem. Gemeinschaftsküche im Erdgeschoss vollkommen ausreichend, die „Terasse“ ist der Bürgersteig vor dem Haus… aber so wird‘s gemacht in Amsterdam. Haben uns immer gefragt wie man wohl wohnt in den schmalen Häusern der Grachtengegend, jetzt wissen wir es und haben es sehr genossen. Vielen Dank."

"The location was great! Close to all major attractions, Anne Frank house, museums, etc. Even though you are right in the city, the location is very quiet at night. Only caution I would provide is regarding steep staircases to second and 3rd floor which given the age of the building, I'd consider the norm. However, if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. The staff was super responsive and communicated via text promptly."
