"We had a wonderful time at L’Alpage recently. It is such a beautiful cottage, in a very peaceful location… exactly what we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The accommodation itself was excellent, with the well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities a big plus. A lovely stove and lots of wood meant we stayed warm every night. "This place is a little gem and really the photos of the cabin don’t do it justice. We are a family with kids aged 13 and it was perfect. Firstly the view is incredible, the location on the river perfect and 5 min drive to the marina and 2 supermarkets. Word of caution it’s pretty steep so wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or very elderly. Our host was lovely. The main area by the pool is great for kids, pool table, arcade games, Nintendo. The pool itself is beautiful....
