"Our room smelt like dog. I ask the desk clerk if they had designated rooms for animals. Her reply was I’m pretty sure every room has had a dog in it🙄 Not ok with that."

"The service is excellent, but the mattresses and sofa bed are in poor condition—the sofa bed is broken. The room is not worth the price I paid; it was an unpleasant experience. I would rate the person who handled our check-in 10 stars, but I would rate the customer service of the person at check-out as 4 stars."

"Room had damage to walls, loose floor tiles in the bathroom, water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the thermostat did not control the temperature. For 250 a night I would expect the rooms to be taken care of."

"Property was really quiet at night for being almost at full capacity. Room was very clean. Parking lot is small and can get full, but I think there is other parking close by. Easy access to road to downtown. Friendly staff."

"The TV didn't work. There was a long sheet about how to get it working but who has that time? How about using the remote as usual? Every hotel should have blackout drapes but they did not. People moved into next room with a non-stop yipping dog. The stay overall was great but for price these issues need attention."

"We had a reasonably nice stay at this hotel, which is on the western side of Dubuque and has an indoor pool and hot tub. The property was well kept and the room and public areas were clean. The beds were comfortable and there were ample electrical outlets. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom. There was no vent in bathroom and the refrigerator had problems: one front leg was missing, the freezer compartment was thick with frost, and the thermostat dial was missing. Since the desk clerk...

"Very nice hotel that we had stayed at a number of years ago. Clean rooms with a classy vibe. Could use a little touching up with some painting here & there. The one issue we had was that the thermostat did not work per the instructions on said thermostat."

"Property needs to be renovated and the outside needs some proper landscaping. Front desk was not there. Had to wait 5 minutes after dialing the number and ringing. Room clean and beds comfortable."
