"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. Top Penzance Hotel Reviews

The Queens Hotel

8/10 Good

"Well maintained, partially updated Victorian hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a beautiful large room with a stunning sea view. Very comfortable bed. Loads of wardrobe and cupboard space. Several comfortable chairs. Highly recommended"

Ship Inn

10/10 Excellent

"A amazing Cornish inn! Room is super spacious, comfortable with stunning views of the harbour. Dinner was a real highlight in a lovely environment. Staff were very friendly and amenable. Parking not included or at hotel is only a few minutes away but pricey, but don’t let this put you off. Breakfast had a good selection of cold and hot to order, although the later was a little over cooked. We will definitely be back to stay again!"
