"Excellence all around. The owners were hands-on in assuring our stay was perfect. The accommodations were very comfortable and extremely clean. The chateau was magnificently maintained and in easy driving distance to the Normandy beaches and outstanding restaurants that were recommended by our hosts. "We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. "

"Nice Hotel. We stayed in the family room in July of 2025 where there is a door that separates the other bedroom, which was nice as we stayed with our 2 adult children. The rooms did not have AC, but they do have windows that open (no screens unfortunately) that brought in cool air. We paid for their breakfast which was pretty good. Only about a 15 minute car ride to the Juno Beach museum. They have a parking lot, but with only about 10 stalls. We had to park in the front which was fine. ...

"This is a gorgeous home with two self-contained guest rooms that serve as the ideal base from which to explore Beuvron-en-Auge. The room was comfortable and tasteful, with its own desperate toilet and shower room. Sylvie is a very helpful host and made a lot of effort to ensure my partner and I had all the information we needed for our visit, despite our lack of French. The breakfast provided was excellent.
