Hotels near Socrates' Prison

"Breakfast area view of the Acropolis and convenient location are the big reasons to stay. Staff was also great, especially with food recommendations and helping us plan around a May 1 worker strike that shut down the metro subway on the day of our departure. Our room was clean but we were tucked in a corner so the bathroom window opened into the elevator shaft and our room rumbled when people used the elevator. Breakfast was good though certainly not living up to 'top rated' billing as compared with other places we have stayed."

"Room lacked a cabinet space to hang clothes etc. Had a unnecessary large kitchen. The rooms seem to be a splitted former apartment with some extension to balcony area, therefore eclectic inner design. Bathroom got wet everytime. In general everything has wear and tear compared to the pictures. Still maybe a good value for money considering the location. Keep on mind it s a crowded noisy area. Helpful staff to arrange taxi promptly."

"Great breakfast. Greek and western. Fresh. Staff were helpful and place is superclean. Easy to walk to all sights. Noisy on rooms facing hadrians park. Ask for back of building. "
