"What a great place to stay! Very clean and well maintained. The location was convenient and the amenities were great. Didn’t hear much noise from other people and there was always parking available. Would highly recommend, and we will for sure be staying again!"

"All was fine, except they charged me a day I didn’t stay, due a flight delayed and I called that I was going the day after very early. I went the day after 7:00AM and they rent my room to another person, and I have to wait until 11am that person did the checkout and the staff clean my room, the room I was charged that day. They also charge me with $100 fee for cleaning, and the only day they have clean my room was the day I came to the facilities the other 3 days (all my stay) they didn’t clean the room. "

"Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Opal Sol. So much so that we’re already planning a trip back! Cleanly, modern, comfortable. Staff are all really nice and go out of your way to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable. Rooms are spacious and well designed. Food and bar by the pool is great. Love the access to sister property opal sands. It’s just a bridge walk away. I also like the market for quick coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I am already missing the property. A couple notes: —we found the overhead fan in our room challenging to work. It’s got a small switch panel and regardless of what we pressed we had issues with the fan turning off at different parts of the night. Thinking this might be an eco thing. —the handle on our patio door was loose and therefore couldn’t lock. Didn’t bother us but we also weren’t traveling with kids or valuables. —this is a family resort. There are more children than adults. We were looking for more of an adult vibe compared to other options in Clearwater but we were still met with constant splashing, squirt guns, kids overtaking the hot tub, etc etc. There are 2 pools next to each other. It might be nice to make one of them adults only. Or make the spa pool on the 3rd floor adults only. Either way, it didn’t ruin our trip but definitely more kids than we expected. "
