"Extremely warm welcome from Vassili (immediately given bottled water on arrival) and all staff all so friendly and helpful. Room clean, bright and comfortable. Great breakfast on Terrace. Liked authentic feel of hotel and super location to explore Athens. Even though it is on a main street we were not disturbed. "This was a fantastic choice for proximity to everything. We were able to walk to the Acropolis, National Archeological Museum, Ancient Agora and the streets of Plaka. The staff has been very friendly and helpful and the rooftop bar has a great view of the Acropolis. The only issue we had was with our bathroom door. "The Moxy was great for a one night stay to hang out with friends before they jumped on a cruise. We enjoyed the room and the staff - excellent service! The surrounding area did leave quite a bit to be desired unfortunately but Athens is a big city and this is downtown so makes sense it would be a bit loud and dirty. "
