"Excelsior Hotel's historic past and fabulous corner location makes it a wonderful place to enjoy the heart of Naples. The rooms are beautifully renovated, some with a tiny balcony overlooking the bay of Naples, are lovely. The hotel's roof-top bar has my favorite panoramic view of Vesuvius, Sorrento and Capri. A wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing moment after a day of touring."

"The room is small and old and this was shocking as the price is pretty high. The breakfast was rich with things that were not that tasty and the eggs were terrible. The team is not very nice I must say."

"The staff were particularly helpful, and we enjoyed the rooftop bar. A generous breakfast that includes options for vegetarians. It's a bit out of the centre, so either a taxi ride or bit of a walk to get to the main attractions of the town. For example, it took us about 45 minutes to walk to the National Archeological Museum."

We happened to be there during a taxi strike, and he helped us find a last minute solution to get to Molo Beverello and make our ferry to Positano for the day. You don't typically go to a hotel and find such a kind, responsive, and genuinely care from the hotel staff.
