"A great choice by me. The hotel was right on the lakeside. The staff where very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. They even turned the bedding down for you in the evening. Overall for me a brilliant hotel to stay at. I would recommend this hotel to my friends to stay."

"I love the old school vibe this hotel gives. It has a lot of character. Also the woman at the reception desk (i think her name was Greta) was SO helpful and gave so many good recommendations for food and activities. One thing i didnt like was there were no irons in the room. I had to either send my clothes for ironing service which i had to pay for or go downstairs and use the iron which wasnt practical for me. Otherwise, this was a beautiful hotel. "

"Overall hotel was clean, tidy. Staff friendly and very helpful. On arrival the initial room allocated was NOT as expected and NOT five star rating. We had upgraded the room prior to our stay. However, the room was fitted out for persons with limited mobility/disability.
