"Nice room in a great location. The recent renovations were very nice and the craftsmanship was excellent. A bit of a disappointment was that we had to pay 10 euros for a lost plastic room key card. The card itself has printed on it a note saying lost cards will be charged. But this honestly seemed like a cash grab when they enforced it, as the card is no different than any other hotel card on our trip. Other than this let down, was nice overall."

"Great location for this hotel - and Bruges was such a great place to visit. The hotel is right by the main town square, with lots of things going on, and markets to visit. The room and ensuite were lovely, and would definitely recommend staying here. The staff were really helpful and we enjoyed our stay here. The only downside was the gym - which wasn't really fully equipped, and smelt of drains, so I didn't use it."

"This is a great hotel. Period. Amazing location with a parking garage underneath for a reasonable rate, and a sizable room. We traveled with our two adult sons and they each got their own twin size bed, which worked out really well. The breakfast was great and the service and staff were all wonderful. The hotel is actually quite huge, but with several quiet outdoor spaces, it never felt crowded. It was a quick walk to the main sites we wanted to see, so we were very happy with it."

"This is a must see and stay. Right in the middle of this quaint town. The breakfast is typical yet plentiful German style. The owner and their family are very friendly and Extremely helpful. Make this your next stay. It will not disappoint."

"Very uncomfortable during heatwave and they put our family of 4 upstairs in the loft with one small fan. No air conditioning. Only 2 small dormer windows would open, no ventilation. Moved out after one night and was refused a refund on second night. Staff not very friendly or helpful."

"My room was confirmed on expedia, however when I called the owner, first of all, it was the incorrect number that they posted on Expedia (It was the restaurant number at the Hotel and they were not willing to find the correct number for me) Secondly, the owner called me back on what's app, and said he cancelled my reservation because the amount I paid on Expedia was not enough. "Susan and her family have a wonderful guest house. It was clean, she was so kind, Breakfast was great and we had everything we needed in our 3 rooms that we had. Located conveniently close to everything, including both the central part of the city and the outer wall. We would definitely stay here again if we were to come back, and would reccomend it to others as well!"
