"The place was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice big lounge area. I enjoyed my stay and it is beautiful overlooking the river. It was quiet even though the street in front was busy. Blackout curtains are there if you need them. There was extra pillows and blankets if needed but I didn’t. I liked the bathroom. There was shower gel but no shampoo or conditioner which was fine because I brought my own but it is handy to know that. It is in the old part of town which is lovely. It was easy to walk to stores and farmacias or bodegas. Beautiful Christmas displays in the town. I had a great stay there. You can get laundry done if needed, I didn’t go to the cafe in the building but it is nice to have one handy. There is parking but it is not free. "

"Our room at Hospedería de los Parajes was very comfortable, quiet and spacious. The staff here are all very nice, and our meals at Restaurante Los Parajes were exceptional. My wife and I had the extensive breakfast buffet each morning, and we also enjoyed two of our dinners while we were in La Guardia. Kudos to the chef for the wonderful and creative gourmet offerings on the menu. Eskerrik asko and Gracias to the owners and staff!"

"a bit far from the hub of activities, but bus access to city centre was excellent and easy to use. the food/drink options within 2 minutes walking were excellent, as was the breakfast provided at the hotel."
