"Very comfortable boutique hotel. Very good shower, comfortable bed, nice sheets, pillows and comfortor. No front desk but easy online check-in. Was also upgraded to a suite. Quiet part of harbor area and very quaint. Good price - would stay again."

"Beautiful and unique space- so, be prepared to climb and then be rewarded for your efforts. We loved exploring Chania, we loved the property and wish we had an extra day just to spend lounging in the room and on the roof garden. We don't usually eat breakfast but would not miss this breakfast for anything, hot coffee, fresh juice, quiet old cafe feel. We truly appreciated the peaceful ,yet busy, mornings, smiling faces, and great service."

Veronika went out of her way to help me get my suitcases up and down the steep stairs, gave me great local advice for food and adventure, and was super professional, polite, and friendly. The view from my room was exceptional. The only drawback was the noise level. I would stay there again. If you stay there, you must eat at Tamam - about a half block from Vranas!"

"This place is excellent. The only minor quibbles would be the standard ones these days, namely the bathroom has a glass door which sounded like it was going to break any second, and the bathroom wall is also opaque so that privacy is not exactly 100% and also if you need to visit the bathroom at night, you wake up people trying to sleep. Also the bathroom door was not exactly insulated, so you get to enjoy the sounds emanating from the bathroom. Otherwise an excellent hotel. "

"Wonderful property with incredibly helpful staff. We arrived before check in time but they greeted us warmly. Our original room had stairs which might be difficult for us to navigate at night so they changed our room. The new room wasn't immediately available but they quickly finished the cleaning for us. We had lots of questions and they had lots of answers about things to do and places to go. We were told that if we needed reservations for a restaurant, they could help and we'd be treated...

"Beautiful hotel and excellent position looking out into the harbour and short walk to the Old Town. Amazing view from our room window. Staff were lovely. Would have benefited from someone on reception to give advice about best places to go to and what to see. The reception was unmanned during our stay but the restaurant staff were very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Excellent host. Would show up on bike within 5 minutes. The home is on a beautiful archeological path you can take to see ruins. Home is located within the historical venitian Chania walls. A 3 min walk to bustling city port and center with food, drinks, and night life. The company kyriakos is amazing, we took the bus trip to elafanissi beach, tour guide was amazing, even stopping the bus at an atm to get my cash haha. So easy so professional and so many options. They pick you up from the bus...

"San Salvatore is a fantastic property, very historical yet done up to a very high standard. It is in a very quiet area but very close/within a walking distance to the city centre in Chania and with a great views across to Chania harbour and the lighthouse. Irene was an amazing host, extremely helpful and kind which made our stay really memorable."
