"We had a lovely time staying here. It was just a short walk from the beach. The room was cute and clean. The staff were wonderful and helped us arrange excursions and transport. No elevator available so if stairs aren’t possible for you than don’t book. Otherwise it was great! "

"The Alama was great all around. Some hotels claim to be something they are not but the Alama was what is said to be and more. The pool was amazing. The view can’t be beat. The staff is always curious trusting and helpful. We immediately extended our stay from 2 to 5 nights and are sad to leave "

"Highly recommend this hotel - we absolutely loved it. We stayed in a 3 bed villa with pool. Good sized pool set in a garden with indoor/outdoor kitchen and lounge area. Good sized bedrooms each with en-suite with outdoor shower. Beds v comfortable. Fresh water and fruit platter delivered daily. Monkeys sometimes visit too! Reception team did everything to make our stay perfect. We ordered breakfast through them, had a takeaway one night when we were tired from diving, organised motorbikes for...

"My wife and I stayed in one of the hotel rooms and enjoyed it. Had a view of the forest and were able to watch monkeys in the trees. A/C worked well but we never had very hot water for the shower. Staff was great and the pool / beach access area was very nice. Bar and restaurant on site as well as massages. You can rent scooters and book tours directly from the hotel. Bit of a walk to other restaurants and bars but not too bad. "
