"Stayed for 2 night with a baby and the staff couldn’t have been nicer! So helpful! Room all set up and baby cot was no problem for them. All the staff at breakfast were just amazing, and it was delicious. Room was warm and cosy, shower could do with new/cleaner grouting but that’s really nitpicking. 100% would recommend."

"Great location on top of the hill overlooking the village. Wild & windy night but slept well. Overnight stay. Comfortable bed & clean room. "Lovely location with great views over Portpatrick. It was such a wet day and we were delighted when we were able to have our room a little bit earlier than the check in time of 3pm, even more so, when our room was upgraded to a balcony room. As soon as you enter the hotel you are stunned by the terrific view over Portpatrick at the reception and then again from our lovely, bright spacious and very clean bedroom. Loved having the bath and powerful shower. We enjoyed a drink in the comfortable lounge before going for a walk. We enjoyed our dinner, pate, chicken and mushroom pie and fish and chips. The breakfast next morning was even better with the added addition of fresh fruit salad to the selection of cereals etc. My husband had the Fernhill Grill and I had the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked to perfection! Staff all very pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you."

"This is a room above a pub. It is the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. It is small but functional with a comfortable bed. The staff are excellent and extremely accommodating. Breakfast is free and so is the clean fresh air. Food is excellent and the place is pet friendly. Its about 35 mins to the ferry but worth the journey."

"Clare was amazing from the start. The check in process was very smooth. We had a lot of space, the fittings were of high quality but the sofa and carpet could do with being replaced. I would definitely stay here again as it was very close to the beach, which is so lovely in this part of the world, but next time we would definitely fly to Scotland!"
