"The highlight of this hotel are the staff who was excellent, especially May and Debo. They helped me with bus tickets, recommendations on beaches and even how much to pay for a shirt. They also helped with laundry and were very responsive to any questions. The hotel was clean and comfortable, everything in my room worked well. The immediate area is a bit of a construction zone but there is everything you need nearby - a shop, a great brunch restaurant / patisserie (Melo's) and a pharmacy. The African monument is a 10 minute walk and visible from outside the hotel. Another 10 minute walk and you are near a good gym (Jobad), burger joint showing football (Esamai) and more shops as well as lots of buses and taxis (or just use Yango which is very reliable). There is a small beach nearby but is mostly blocked by a construction site but you can still sunbath and there is a small bar. Otherwise I recommend to walk or get a taxi to Ngor in the north or Point des Almadies beach."

"The rooms are spacious, but the furniture is old and lacks any real personality. The staff is efficient, yet not particularly attentive to guests, and the information provided was minimal — for example, I was not told that the hotel is connected to a shopping mall. The food was also disappointing. I ordered a rare filet, but it was served completely overcooked and extremely tough. On the positive side, the location is very good, the hotel has a nice pool with bar service, and I was able to book a very pleasant tour through the hotel at a fair price. "

"Great staff - always helpful and smiling. They go above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I didn’t get to visit the gym or bar to comment. It can be a little noisy at the corridor area when you’re in the room and doors opening and closing can be quite startling but not enough to wake you. "

"Hotel Boma was wonderful - stylish, modern, clean and relaxing with good wifi. The best part however was the amazing staff particularly the reception and restaurant. "the hotel is very clean, nice garden well maintain, room clean, staff very nice and helpfull, location is good, nice area and safe,Ngor beach is just 11 min walk you also have a 24h Auchan convenient store. will surely recommend. a big shout out to Anna and Christian at checked in and checked out. pour une 1ere fois au Senega cet hotel etait superbe, propre, vert et relaxant car cetait pas trop occupe, les employes sont super gentil et n hesite pas a aider, les gens de la securite a lentree de l hotel aussi super gentil et peuvent te guider ou aller en te securite, sinon l hotel est bien place ds la zone les almadies donc tres securitaire, la plage Ngor est juste a 11min de marche et de la quitte les pirogues pour lile Ngor, hotel vient avec le petit dejeuner en option cetait pas mal et ca aide pour demarrer une journee touristique. je vous le recommande certain. un grand merci a Anna et Christian pour leur check in et check out."
