Good Location. Warning:Cash Only - No Credit Cards

A good location near the ferry port, beach boats, taxis and bus station. Excellent AIr Con and hot water available 24/7. Well appointed albeit small balcony. But due to the key card system, the fridge switches off every time you leave the room, which meant that nothing was kept cold. Breakfast very poor when compared with other Greek Island hotels of similar standards. We were Infrormed on check out that credit cards could not be used. Contrary to details given on Expedia. It would have been helpful to our planning if we were told this on arrival. No plug in wash basin. This may seem rather petty but Patmos has a water shortage (alll water is brought in by boat) and when you are island hopping and travelling Ryanair, you need to wash things through. No wi-fi in room. Dying trees/plants in communal "outdoor corridor" do not give a good first impression. A little care and watering would solve this.

Απαράδεκτο το γεγονός ότι δεν υπήρχε η δυνατότητα πληρωμής με πιστωτική κάρτα, αν και πουθενά δεν υπάρχει η σχετική ενημέρωση. Η ποιότητα του πρωινού πολύ χαμηλή (2 φέτες ψωμιού, πορτοκαλάδα που δεν πινόταν και βούτηρο και μαρμελάδα από το supermarket). Αλγεινή εντύπωση στο κομμάτι της καθαριότητας τα πανβρώμικα τηλεκοντρόλ και το γεγονός ότι μία μέρα δεν πέρασε καθαρίστρια από το δωμάτιο. Δεν αξίζει τα χρήματα που πληρώνει κάποιος.

We felt the hotel would benefit from a refirb. It is in a good location close to the port/town Skala.

Very convienient to the ferry and bus stop.

The hotel was nice but I was disappointed in the prices for the food at the restaurant in the evening. It was way too expensive for what you got in comparison to most other restaurants.

Hotel with view of harbor

The hotel owner was very surprised to see me even though I had reserved a room. He did not know that he had a room booked. The owner does not speak English, which made the communication difficult. His kitchen worker spoke some English, so we were able to communicate a bit. The room is very nice with a balcony and chairs to enjoy the wonderful view of the harbor. The beds are comfortable, but I could not get WiFi in my room, only downstairs in the restaurant. Also, I could not get hot water for a shower. The hotel owner made me lunch and offered me many different beverages for my stay. The WiFi works wonderfully in the restaurant. If you do not like people smoking inside, then find a different hotel, as the owner would smoke in his restaurant. He was very kind and he kept my bag for me the day after my stay as I was exploring the island and leaving that evening on a ferry.

Struttura semplice a due passi dal mare

Il mare è' dall'altra parte della strada, dove ci sono anche i tavolini per la colazione e la cena: proprio sulla spiaggia con di fronte le barchine. personale ottimo. Purtroppo, di notte le navi che entrano in Porto ti fanno sobbalzare, No wifi in camera, camere piccoline ma comunque pulite. Non accettano carte di credito.

Not the Best Choice if Other Options are Available

Since we were travelling out of season (at the end of December), this was the only hotel available. The condition of the room also made it apparent that there had been few visitors in many weeks. The only route to Patmos was by boat and the staff was very accommodating, meeting us at the port at 3 a.m. It turned out we were only about 100 meters from the hotel, which provided great views of the harbor. The hotel was a small establishment and the rooms were simply furnished. However, it was apparent that the rooms had been vacant for some time and/or hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in awhile. There was a thin layer of dirt or grime on many surfaces, and the glasses in the bathroom (which were stored upright) had a thin film of some kind of dried yellowish brown scum inside! I was not willing to even attempt to use those. It is obvious that the island gets few visitors during the winter since virtually all other establishments were closed. Perhaps during the high season this hotel may be more habitable.

Nice place, nice owners !

Room are nice, they are clean and air condition works properly. The location is really good becuase attached to harbour. Room without seaview are quiter to sleep.... so I suggest them.
