Second time we stayed at Gonana, right on the beach. Nice firm bed, hot breakfast. Would be nice to have a small fridge in the bedroom to keep water cool on the hot day. Anytime self service upstairs at the breakfast/ lunch area. Definitely, we will be back

This property is amazing. It couldn't be in a more relaxing location, with private beach access and located in a quiet street. It is decorated beautifully, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are so accommodating. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking to relax, enjoy the peace and quiet, and wake up to a beautiful view of the sea.

Guesthouse is located at a great location, walk out and you will see the beach. Staff is friendly and helpful, great communication via email when we book. Check-in was a little bumpy as they staff does not seem to know we are checking-in and when we mention about the booked kayak, they gave vague response to where we should go. Rooms is lovely, clean and love the towels! But the Public Space is just above the rooms and you will hear creaking sound through the ceiling almost the whole day, especially in the morning when the staff get ready for breakfast.

Good for the soul

Tge staff was exceptional! They are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a variety of hot and cold options with freshly baked goods. The rooms were comfortable and warm. Our doggies enjoyed their stay. The main house has a beautiful lounge where one can have sundowners overlooking the beach.

We stayed in the one bed self catering house which was very good but if I returned I would try to stay in the guesthouse itself Service amazing , great place to spend a few days

Highly recommend!!

Had an amazing stay at Gonana! We stayed in a beach facing room. So peaceful,with beautiful views. I loved the décor and the fine details in everything from the welcome note in our room and the souvenir gift. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the service was great! Thanks Again, we will definitely be back!!

Schöne lage / Zimmer hellhörig und klein

Tolle Aussicht aufs Meer - Direkter strandzugang. Für backpacker und junge sicher geeignet. Wer einen gewissen Luxus möchte m, ist hier falsch. Grupp enTisch im Aufenthaltsraum und Zimmer die direkt darunter liegen, wo man jeden Schritt hört.

It was surprising as we didn’t expect stairs but we managed ok. We were not seaview because we were in a cottage and not the lodge. Also surprising. Nice and clean and serviced daily. Friendly staff They wanted a large breakage deposit. Also surprising

Sea views

Beautiful accomodation on the beach. It was very cold though and no blankets provided. Also except noise as people come and go from rooms overhead as the floorboards creak and sound travels. Could have used thicker towels the minimalism wasnt always practical.

Magical time at the ocean

Amazing guest house directly at the ocean, amazing views, Thandi did an amazing job and went the extra mile when we wanted to do crayfish. The breakfast was sensational. The house is magical and the setting amazing :-)

Very great location in front of the beach... nice salted swimmingpool, breakfast is ok ... Room 1/2 or 3 are the one downstairs in front of ocean. Great nice room , clean . Only issue very bad sound insulation ! Good value for money and pleasant team!
