"The pictures used on Expedia for the rooms represent the room in its "tidiest state", but when you actually are in one of the rooms, the interior is in much worse shape (walls/beddding). The bathroom section has a toilet that barely has room for legs because a wall is in the way. At night mosquitoes can come in and so do cockroaches. While I am not scared of either, the mosquitoes are definitely annoying. While if you have command of Spanish, you can talk with the receptionist but if you don't...

"The hotel is within an old mansion and the art and decor are amazing, it’s so well done. The room was spacious and comfortable with the highest ceilings you’ve ever seen. There were also various quiet sitting areas throughout. The best part was the staff who were all beyond helpful and welcoming without being overbearing. "Located directly across the street from a pocket park, this spacious home features a newly renovated shared bathroom (only for guests), a large common room with dining table for a hot breakfast and we had a very comfortable double room on the 2nd floor for our stay.
