"This was one of the most beautiful castles we stayed in! We got great aesthetic pleasure! We traveled with a 7-year-old child, and he was given a large room with a fireplace next to us, he was just happy. These were 2 adjoining rooms, every detail of the interior of which I wanted to look at. It was warm and comfortable. The breakfast was home-made good, especially the pancakes. We definitely recommend this place and think that we will come again. Everything was great."

"The stay was quite clean and quaint. Every aspect of the place was very thoughful. Exemplary I would say. Fanny was an amazing host. Room was clean, bed confortable, bathrooms very clean. Also the dart board and pool table were fun as well. "

"Perfect place to stay if you’re travelling up from south of France towards the north very basic room which met our needs the only downside was that the bathroom had a very strong smell of damp. "

"A very nice Hotel - each room are differently - but very tasteful decorated. Near the hotel is a restaurant Hotel du France - and our host reserved a table for us. We where also introduced to the nearby Art Park - Ile Art - and spend som hours there looking at amazing art installations. We higly recommend The Royal House Hotel and will definitely return."

"The little apartment was great, clean, tidy and well equipped. Only challenge was the pullout sofa bed was very creaky and therefore not the best night's sleep. Lovely place and lovely town."

Château de Longecourt en Plaine

"This was one of the most beautiful castles we stayed in! We got great aesthetic pleasure! "Really lovely hotel. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room quirky but excellent, very clean and super comfortable bed. The restaurant was superb, along with an unbelievable wine list. Lovely quiet area actually located in the vineyards, which made for some nice walks around the local villages. Easy drive into Dijon or Nuits-Saint-Georges if required. Definitely recommended. "

"Beautiful pet-friendly hotel right next to Nuits St George and its airfield. No restaurant, but there are plenty in the village. The extensive grounds are great for walking the dog. Owner and staff are very attentive. Unfortunately, our car was broken into in the hotel car park. Don't leave anything in your car overnight."
