"This is my second time staying at the lodge. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was great to only be a few miles out of Boulder and surrounded by such beauty. The drive through the canyon is breathtaking. You arrive at the lodge and it is like stepping back in time to simpler times. The sound of the creak and the smell of campfire. "Basecamp is very convieniently located for visits to the CU campus and Pearl Street. The property is comfortable and homey. The shared spaces are so nice to relax in with fellow travellers. The staff is very friendly andhalpful. I would stay here again!"

"The outside is very dirty and old. The pool was closed and was the main reason we booked this hotel. The room and libby was clean and updated. The breakfast was the same fir the three days we were there. Was hood but would have been nice to have a little change. we stayed 3 nights and our room was never cleaned ot towels changed and we had to ask desk for toilet paper. Area was ok close to food, shopping, and easy to get where we needed to go."

"As I told the front desk, this is what a hotel should be! Nice and clean room, great water pressure in the shower, comfy bed, nice fluffy bedding, delicious food, friendly and quick valet service, great central location, decor is lovely, charm is off the charts! "Great location and rooms are large with lots of functionality—fridge with icemaker, lots of space, and nice, large-screen television with good streaming apps (and even HDMI ports if desired). Rooms are a bit dated and kind of dark (even if you go around and flip the 5-6 different light switches to on and turn the three lamps).
