Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The staff was super friendly, the common area had a lot of entertaining things to do as well as a lot of space for food storage and cooking, the decor was very cozy, there were a lot ov recommendations for things to do nearby including restaurants, and the room was fantastic.
Staff is incredible, helpful, professional, curious and friendly.
The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. The common area was clean, well seasoned with games, work areas, power for devices, a great kitchen, etc.
I've traveled much of the world and stayed at a lot of hostals. This was more like a nice hotel.
Book your stay at The Park City Hostal. You will not be disappointed.
The staff was friendly. Other occupants in building were friendly as well. Nearby bus stop. Maps and suggestions on site. Different activities provided each night. Room was clean and comfortable for 2. Had mini fridge in room.
A great option for solo and group travelers. The staff was awsome, the location is near stores and restaurants and a 10-15 minutes free shuttle ride to the slopes. I was there for 5 days and had a blast despite less than optimal weather and snow conditions. The guests were from all kinds of horizons and the atmosphere was vibrant every mornings and evenings. I plan on going back next sure.
I needed a place to stay for an extra night during Sundance and this place met all my needs. It’s right by the bus and one of the venues. They were able to hold my bags upon checkout while I was at the festival, and they let me check in early when I arrived. Despite it being a full house during the festival it was easy to get access to the shared bathrooms & showers. The room was tiny and 8 people were packed in, but as I was only there to sleep so it met my needs.
First time staying in a hostel. Surprised by cleanliness of bathrooms. There were plenty and using one was never an issue. They supple clean towel, linen and a blanket. Bunk bed was solid construct but box spring was minimal so it’s not a Marriot but I slept fine. I was first to bed (10:30). Never met roommates as they trickled in after. But they were respectful- no one talked, made noise, played music. Each bunk bed has a curtain that closes so you do have some privacy.
Common area was fun. Pool table, chess, games. Corner couch area with tables for reading. Self service full kitchen available. I left at 6:30 and breakfast is at 7:30 so I can’t comment on that. I would try it again
I recently stayed at Park City Hostel. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly staff, who happened to be the owner, Nick. Nick showed me around and I was impressed with the hostel building. It was clean and on the higher end with a pool table and games in the common area. The bathrooms and room were clean and spacious, and everyone was really friendly, including the volunteers and the Front door receptionist, Messy. However, there was an Indian guy there who brought his new puppy into the common area for 5 minutes at around 10 pm. The rules clearly state that no pets of any kind are allowed into the hostel. Dogs, cats, and, especially, puppies are dangerous to us humans, and we need to protect ourselves against any threats, including allergies. Immediately, we all put on our Hazmat suits when we saw that 6-week-old puppy enter the building. The manager, a redhead, did a great job of kicking out the Indian guy along with his dangerous puppy. Good job to the manager! She needs to be promoted immediately! Also, the manager is very attentive. She will leave work and go home to her apartment to look at the cameras throughout the hostel. I felt really safe since we were all being closely watched. But that's not it. While at work, the red head is a guest DJ and will blast hardcore metal music for the guests' pleasure. What more can you ask for in a Hostel?
This place was a classic hostel. A little rough and ready, but the staff was friendly and helpful, the people were fun and social, and it was easy to get downtown or to the slopes. Rooms were good enough for the price, and though bathrooms are not en-suite I never had trouble getting to use one. The common area was fun with a pool table and many board games that many people were eager to play. You meet people from everywhere here!
I went up to Park City to see a show at the Deer Valley Music Festival and booked a bed here because I wanted to spend some time in PC the following day before driving home. I had such a fantastic experience! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the rooms are large, and the bunk beds are sturdy and clean. I didn't shower there but the bathrooms are clean and well-stocked. There were 3 bunk beds in my room but only one other girl and I were there for the night, so we had plenty of space. PC Hostel is less than a 5 minute drive to Main Street and 10 from Deer Valley Resort, and there are a lot of fun little restaurants and eateries close by. I will definitely stay here again!
This place was a hidden gem! Staff was so fun and welcoming. The roof top had great views of the mountains. The hostel is also so close to everything including grocery stores, convent stores, gas stations. I can’t wait to come back!
I arrived a little bit late and staff still allowed me to check in after the 10:00 p.m. check-in window. Slept in a bunk room with three other bunk beds. The other guests were quiet and respectful, and the place was clean and orderly. This is a good option for those staying on a budget in park city, all the more so because parking is included with the stay.
It was not worth for the price I paid for. Very small room with no bathroom and not enough room to walk round the bed. I fell twice. I feel like I should get my money back.
Great place to rest your head in Park City. Bathrooms, bedrooms (comfortable beds) and common areas were always clean. Staff was fantastic and willing to answer any questions. Kitchen was a great benefit and saved me a ton of money. Only recordation would to splurge for the sunset rooms. Thanks again for the great visit
You can’t control you ac/heat they control it for you. You have to share showers with whoever is on your floor and you room is like sleeping in a closet
Nice place to stay & meet other people. We had a group of 10 people so we had to split ourselves between rooms. We really just used the rooms to store our equipment and to sleep, the rest of the time we were snowboarding or visiting the city. Staff was great! Breakfast was provided.
If you’re too picky, this jar not be the place for you.
