"I like hotels with charm and character. This antique filled hotel fit the bill and was a great price (when booked well in advance). We stayed three nights. I was given a nice room upgrade to a suite. It is a great, central location. Service at the hotel was excellent. Some small complaints. No amenities like hair conditioner. Also, as others have mentioned, they tacked on a service charge at check out. I do not consider this a normal practice and find it slightly misleading. The sheets and pillows were okay but could have been nicer. I would say it is a four star hotel, not five. Overall, I think it was great overall value and would not hesitate in staying here again."

"Great location very conveniently located a couple of minute walk from the astronomical clock and old town square. The rooms were large, clean. Overall a really great stay. Deducted one star for one really negative interaction with a staff member who was very rude when I asked if we could get a refresh on towels and toilet paper since we had been staying in the room for several days and had declined housekeeping. Otherwise great."

"This was the most luxurious stay! So glad we booked it! We were not thrilled with our room, which was tiny beyond tiny and unfortunately faced the street and was quite loud until really late at night even though there is nothing below, just people walking by, talking, laughing but somehow acoustics travels strange. That was room #215. But we didn’t bother with changing it, I regret that. But…the hotel itself, the service, the friendliness of all staff, the breakfast is simply outstanding! The beautiful deco is just outstanding. The location is fantastic. I very day I walked out and walked different directions discovering little streets and corners. I can’t recommend enough. Well done!!! And if you can, watch the Mozart dinner which itself is just as impressive. Read the very interesting history of the hotel on their below street level."

"Room was very clean. Only reason I've dropped a star is because of the thin walls which I know they can't do anything about but it is a factor. First night I was there, there was a group of school students in the next room and I could hear everything. In fairness to the hotel they did offer to more me to another room the next day after I complained via hotel.com app. But the school had already checked out. Breakfast is basic but it's free so can't complain. Location is great, just off a tram line and right beside a popular lokal , Walk wise 15mins into area near the clock. Otherwise can easily grab the tram. No issues storing luggage if you arrivee early or leaving late in the day"
