The hotel is basic. The rooms don’t look anything like the pictures. the breakfast is chaotic. The reception staff were helpful. Saying all that. If you are on a budget it works. It’s very close to the Metro, which makes it easy to get around Paris.

This is a nice, no frills hotel. We arrived in Paris late in the evening and just needed somewhere for a night. The beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked well and the breakfast was perfectly fine.

Great location near to trains/metro. Nice friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast options were good. Rooms quiet and beds comfortable. However the rooms are tired and need a refit and deep clean.

The location so close to the metropolitana and buses. The breakfast was good, good choise and wide enough. In general right value for money. The room a little bit small. The cleaness level basic, Moquette everywhere leaves me perplexe from an hygenic point of view. Guys working there both at the reception and in the breakfast room nice and always smiling.

Perfect location right beside the Metro. Reasonably priced for Paris. Comfortable hotel with nice rooms and decent breakfast. Our only small issue was that we had 2 single beds pushed together instead of a double and the room was a bit chilly.

Staff was lovely and the room was very clean. The location of the hotel is great, close to important train stations. Negatives: room was cold and in need of soundproofing. Breakfast bufet was basic and once they ran out of something it wasn`t replaced so you had to be early. Given it`s a 3 start hotel, I guess the expections were met...

Basic value accommodation with buffet breakfast - very clean - bed made every day - lovely white crisp towels changed often - all staff friendly and helpful - lift access to floors - walk in bathroom ideal for someone like myself disabled/wheel chair user - buffet breakfast was fresh and well replenished - good choice - ideal location at Gare de L’est and few minutes walk from Gare de Nord, excellent public transport links and close to canal - overall very good and quiet despite being in a busy location

Very conveniently located next to the metro. Room is generally clean but seemed difficult to get extra bath towels, was given face towels instead. Door chain was damaged and not replaced. Breakfast was adequate. A good budget hotel to consider for the convenience.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we found it very clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was always being topped up so plenty of food. Its right next to a metro station which is extremely convenient, there was a restaurant right across from the hotel which we used twice and food was nice and staff nice and spoke English. All in all a lovely stay..maybe only thing i could say was it never had tea making facilities in the room but thats just me as i like a cuppa before bed. The mainline train staion was right next to us was a bit noisy when the window was open,but with the window closed it was fine. I would definitely stay there again its basic but clean and friendly which is the main thing for me.

Great location and good hotel

I was worried at first after reading some of the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The front desk was always friendly and happy to help. We could smell our room has been freshly painted. It was a good sized room as far as Parisian standards. Breakfast was good and varied. Being next to Gare de L'Est, we brought ear plugs expecting a bit of noise. I recommend people do this. Location made it very convenient to get around the city. Only problem was that only one of the lifts were working, which is a problem when everyone is using them. But I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a very good location. Metro station next door, bus stop on both side of the road, 10mins walk to Gare du Nord station. Easy access to town. In terms of the hotel itself, the facility is a let down. The bedroom are not spacious, no complementary hot drinks in the room. The breakfast spread is not something I was expecting. Just pastry’s, had to boil our own eggs. No chef to cater for our dietary needs. Food choice is very poor. The staff are nice and very friendly.

Check in was fine, and the room was reasonably clean. The television and one bed side lamp wasn't working. Breakfast was standard. When checking out the receptionist implied that I didn't pay the city tax when I checked in. I had paid the city tax by bank card and I showed it to her via my banking app. I was then accused of paying the city tax to the wrong Ibis hotel!! No, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Front desk staff erre extremely rude for check in and for check out. We had to leave at 4,15am and the man didn’t even lighted the reception area inspite my request. The coffee machine was on and didn’t allowed us to help ourselves with a coffee. Staff for breakfast were nice. Property is far to be a 3-star hotel. Common areas are dirty, room not comfortable at all and no safe box either. A/C didn’t work! Well located at 5min walk to Gare de l’Est. I will not recommend the staying based on what the hotel offers and the high price payed for it. Terrible!!

I picked this hotel for convenience as it was close to the concert I was attending, but it was a bit fawlty towers to be honest. Receptionist possibly new as didn’t really know what to do, and no personality or friendliness- ladies at an Ibis Styles in Bordeaux were exceptionally good. Lift didn’t work. And I was having a rest when someone just entered my room! It was very hot weather so it’s a good job I wasn’t starkers! And I know it was near / next to a train station but Jesus H Christ I think my room vibrated, maybe I could have slept better if the pillows weren’t the worst pillows I’ve ever put my head on. At least the room was stylish and clean so it wasn’t all bad

No good, needs a lot of work

Avoid if possible. The hotel has a very convenient location and if you are on the top floors facing the station, a great view; however, this is not a hotel to the high standards Ibis delivers everywhere else. The building is run down, old, dirty carpets, you can find rubbish in corridors, just one lift working, etc. On top of that we had water coming down the A/c by the door that damped the carpet, were moved to another room and didn’t have a working A/c, finally ended up on the 8th floor in a better room, still you could see pipes installations in the bathroom and noise all night long. We didn’t have good nights sleep here. Breakfast was good (typical French and nice to start the day) As I said it is convenient to take trains from Gare de l’Est station for days out from Paris, nothing else. Hopefully Ibis will work to bring this hotel to their standards or just take away your brand from it as expectations were very high for what we found
