Excellent location, low level of street noise. As a woman traveling alone this location feels very comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Super little coffee shop next door.

We recently stayed for one week at follie des pres and we had the most fabulous stay! It’s in a great location where a lot of restaurants, cafes, and shops are within walking distance.The hotel itself is very clean and is full of whimsical charm and the rooms are so incredibly decorated. The hotel also has an elevator and air conditioning which is an automatic bonus in Paris! The staff are all so kind and attentive and really go above and beyond to make sure you have the most pleasant stay. They even helped us upgrade our room to a fabulous room with a balcony and gave us a bottle of wine. 10/10 I would definitely recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. Pick this hotel. You will not regret it!!

The location has to be the best in Paris. An idea for the hotel owner would be to offer a picnic set or a sort of picnic plan to sell. Here’s what’s super fun— the hotel is like 4 blocks from the Seine. In the evening the Parisians head to the river bank for a simple picnic: some beer, wine, bread, cheese, etc. they sit and talk… we did a makeshift picnic one evening like the way they do and it was SOOO NICE! Honestly, our little spontaneous picnics on the banks of the Seine were probably the most fun of all the things we did. The hotel is in the perfect location to easily to do this and really feel Parisian.

The bathroom, beds everything was small in the tiny room which I didn't expect. Very awkward to walk around in the room. The supply of tea and coffee was not enough for two people. However the staff was friendly and efficient that made our stay comfortable.

The most gorgeous little hotel, perfect for our 2 nights in Paris. The staff were so friendly, always popping their heads out to say hello as we came in and left. The room was small, but we expected that, however the perfect amount of space for what we needed. The balcony was the most amazing addition and such a nice surprise. We loved o people watching out there every morning and evening. Shower was warm, and great pressure, and the cleaning staff were super friendly. There’s lots of great local restaurants and bakeries nearby, and you’re only 15 mins walk to the Notre Dame. Highly recommend this spot.

Attention, ne payez pas de petit déjeuner car l'établissement n'en offre pas. De plus, le RER passe régulièrement ce qui fait trembler toutes les chambres. Mauvaise nuit.

The room was small but nicely laid out. The bathroom had to be the smallest I have been in. You literally could not turn around in the narrow space without sending the toilet role flying on to the ground. Once you manoeuvred in to the right position you could use the strong shower to great affect. This idea of compactness extended to the staircase and the lift. The winding staircase could cater for someone going up or down but there would have to discussion on who would back down if you met someone coming in the opposite direction. The single lift was actually funny because two people might fit in as long as neither had any bags or cases with them at the time. My advice would be face out rather than turn to the side, especially if you are a visitor who carries some extra poundage on you. The hotel was in an area that was described as lively but that was not the case unless you took a ten minute walk to Saint Germain. It was very handy for the Metro with two stations within a few minutes walk away. If you can enjoy its quirky nature this hotel is in a good area if you want somewhere quiet to stay after a day visiting the sights of Paris.
