We booked at the last minute and our options were limited, next time I might prefer to be in the city center, but this is conveniently located next to the “Bone Church”. Pardubice became a town sometime around 1340. Back then it was owned by the Lords of Pardubice, the most prominent figure of the line being Arnošt of Pardubice, the first Archbishop of Prague, advisor and friend to Emperor Charles IV, a distinguished European personality of that time.
