"The staff at Hydra hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was in room 201 with spectacular corner views of the port and was right next to the breakfast area with its own outdoor area. Unless you are carrying a light weight bag, just plan on hiring the donkey transportation to the hotel. "It was a beautifully restored mansion. We were in the basement but there was plenty of sunlight streaming in from windows. Bedroom was in upstairs loft so stairs to navigate . Bathroom downstairs. Everything updated and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, from granola with fruit to eggs and small spinach pies. Tasty orange cake to top it off! Lovely place with garden and resident tortoise and areas to sit outside with a glass of wine. Highly recommend and use the donkeys to carry luggage!"

"We had a relaxing stay at the Erato. The staff is friendly and helpful. They prepare a nice breakfast where you can relax in a covered patio. Its down the street from some great restaurants with plenty of shopping opportunities from local mergents. The hotel is just a short walk from the marina where the ferries drop you off and pick you up for your return to Athens. The front desk staff helped us order ferry tickets and printed them for us. We highly recommend this hotel when you visit Aegina!"
