"This is a charming cabin right on the lake. It quiet and comfortable, well stocked with most anything you might need. It is a good idea to comebwith all the groceries etc you may require, it Is remote."

"The cabin has a nice well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds with nice towels and blankets. However, the heating unit downstairs needs repair which was not great as it got really cold the last night of our stay. The fire pit is lovely but the chairs need replacing because they are mostly cracked from the sun and one broke at the back. We communicated with the owner about dead batteries and missing remotes but there was no followup. "

"Gateway Inn was in the perfect location, getting to the park was so easy and we were able to completely skip the line. The staff was great, and the property was amazing for what we paid for. Will definitely be returning!"

"Very quaint chalet in the heart of the national park. It was super quiet and peaceful and awesome to be able to sit on the porch and look at Mount Rainier. The food in the restaurant was also very good and the prices were quite fair. The only thing to know is that there's no cell signal and very limited WiFi on the property, also no TV's in the rooms. But if you're looking for a place to disconnect from technology, this place is great!"

"Very close to National Park. Clean room. Not aware until after I booked with Expedia that there was no bathroom in room but a shared/walk to bathroom and no TV."

"The location of the lodge was great to access Mount Rainier national park. The room was showing its age and if you have trouble with stairs there is no elevator to reach the second floor."

"Be prepared to not find anyone at the office, but someone will show up once you call their number and leave a message. Very old mansion that needs much TLC. Staff once accessible, are very friendly and helpful. Canceling a reservation is very difficult, as they demand a 14 day notice. The cabin we were given had a lot of standard amenities, but just not enough and very small."
