"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. No sign board with the name of the property, no staff at the reception, getting the room key itself was a big hustle. The room was with a foul smell and not inhabitable. "Good quiet location a few minutes walk to the city centre. Our room was clean and spacious but very scuffed around the edges. The bed was really hard and, as I have a lower back problem, I didn't get much sleep. The coffee and croissants each morning were an added bonus. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful but one person was a bit surly. Car parking was £15 per night, not overly expensive, but most of the spaces were very tight to get into. Overall a reasonable place to stay."
