"We were in a waterfront cottage #19. It’s literally on the bay with a beautiful view of the water and mountains. So peaceful. It’s not a big fancy resort…you actually drive down a neighborhood street to get to it. We wanted a quiet place. Customer service was awesome. There is no beach. However, one of the waterfront cottages had a couple loungers on a piece of sand. There is a pool and a couple floating docks with chairs and tables. Live music in the evening. Our lanai in 19 was probably 25...

"This a charming and beautiful old building. The individual rooms and common spaces are inviting, and sitting on the lanai with a view of Honolulu is wonderful! The owners provide a simple but filling breakfast and a coffee station and fridge near the sleeping quarters. All staff were welcoming and receptive to questions. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the Waikiki area, or near UH, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again! "
