"Very cool property with peacocks! Rooms were disconnected from each other which gave a condo-like feel. Very quiet while I was there. Staff were great and helpful in coordinating transportation and giving recommendations for what to do during my stay."

"Lovely hotel. Room was very comfortable with good amenities. There were groups of sports teams from the UK there. Unfortunately when they arrived the restaurant focused more on them than the other guests resulting in long wait times to order and receive food and drink. You must treat ALL your guests appropriately. I believe the hotel was built in 2003. They can use some upgrades. The rooms have actual "keys" instead of key cards. Overall, my stay was very pleasant. I would return again."

"The staff there during my stay 7/17 to 7/22 were tremendous and one was actually a super hero. I believe his name is Junior who risked his life and dove into the beach water fully dressed. He helped 2 people screaming for help because the late evening current took them out too far. Junior who looks like a baby himself needs to be honored by the company that owns the resort. "This is one of my favorite repeat hotels. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The location can't be beat. Everything in walking distance. Restaurants, clubs, supermarkets, the Boardwalk and best of all the hotel is on the beach! Free parking is always available also. Recently updated so everything is so fresh. The balcony is the perfect spot to watch the sea and waves as you eat your breakfast or watch a sunset."

"The property is a bit old-fashioned but has everything you need. Rooms are well-kept and spacious. The balcony gives a nice outdoor feel. The location of the hotel is convenient as it is close to several restaurants and a small mall. The staff were helpful and I had no issues during my stay."

"I didn’t like that the pool bar was closed and open on Friday for a limited time. I had some problems with my room and didn’t understand how housekeeping didn’t address. However, when I did they took care of the problem quickly. I found some of the staff not to be friendly. They ran out of towels for the pool quickly. "We understood that it was not peak vacation time in Barbados, but the resort was empty. The resort did not conduct any activities they had listed for the pool or the beach. No music being played - very low key. Restaurant choices very limited and one night there was even same menu two nights in a row. Very limited buffets. LOVED the staff at the spa! Definitely visit. The room was beautiful - very spacious and the view was wonderful."
