"I have stayed here many times now in the past 2 years, and it has continued to be an excellent choice being near the port of Pireaus. It is also very close to the Dimotiko Theatro Metro stop, which is the last stop on the Blue Line and can take you all the way to the airport as well as to central Athens. It is a bit of an uphill walk from the port, but this time, because I had some extra luggage and our boat docked at Gate E7 near the Pireaus Metro station, I took the Metro 1 stop to the Dimotiko Theatro station and walked a flat 150 meters to the hotel. I booked a double room for this visit because it was just a few Euros more than the usual economy room I take, and I wanted to see the difference. Although it was a bigger room and had access to a shared balcony, I didn’t care for it as much as the smaller economy room; however, had I been with someone else, it would have been large enough for both of us. The economy room is good for a single person or a couple. There are other room types, but I have not tried them yet. I had another fantastic cooked-to-order breakfast in the morning; and the staff was, as they have always been, extremely nice and helpful. They watched my luggage after I checked out, while I ran an errand. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for people passing through the port of Pireaus."

"We booked Pireaus City hotel since it was very close to the port for our Celebrity Cruise the next day. Staff were very helpful and courteous as we're fellow travelers. The location is very close to the Port, the area is business residential , it was a Sunday, so notihng open for dinner nearby. We were able to order grilled ham & cheese sandwiches, delivered to or room,"

"I only had one night in Athens before heading off to Paros and Filon was perfect. Lovely staff who were really helpful in helping me to check in for my ferry when the app wasn’t working! The room was basic but very clean and I had a great nights sleep. I’ll be staying again at the end of my trip."
