"Fantastic setting, with stunning sea views! The hotel had character, with good attention to detail, and mature well kept grounds with some beautiful planting. All the staff were great and couldn’t do enough for us. A particular shout out to Apostolia who organised our transfers, and car hire, friendly, helpful, and seemed to really enjoy her job. "1 min walk from Skiathos harbour bus stop.This hotel is just before you get to town & harbour.Everything is within easy walk- you can take harbourside walk into town or be adventurous and take back streets. "Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! ) "
