"I was a little stressed about the no on-site parking, and that is a big challenge, but it's not a fault of the hotel. I suggest dropping your stuff off up as far as your car can go (hopefully you have someone to stay with it) then walking the 300 m or so to the hotel. You can pay them to do this but it's really just some ups and downs, so just wear footwear that isn't too slippery, arrive early (apparently last check in is at 8:30 pm but they accommodated us at 10:30 pm - but be sure to have a cell flash light to get there if you arrive after sundown as the last 50 m is in the dark otherwise).
Otherwise, the rooms are beautiful with great AC and it's on the furthest east side of the castle so you will have access to amazing sunrises in the morning. The breakfast is home cooked and made with love. We had a great time and really enjoyed the location."
"Beautiful location, slightly isolated so very peaceful. Stunning property and great clean pools. Short drive or walk to Neapoli waterfront restaurants. Short drive to Pounta Beach or ferry to Elafonisos Island (Simos Beach). Grocery store 1km away."
"We enjoyed the location of this hotel, the comfortable rooms with the excellent mattresses, the nice air conditioning and great insulation. You could hardly hear any cars passing by with the windows closed and the air conditioning on."
"We stayed last year so it was nice to return. The staff are always so welcoming and the property is fantastic. Beautiful room with fabulous views and balcony. Close to town."
"Nice location, car is a must, good breakfast, excellent housekeeping. No swimming beaches nearby. (walking distance) Decent pool. Pool staff could be more attentive."
"Clean room, excellent amenities, free and easy parking area in addition to a veranda for relaxing outside. Highly recommend as we traveled and stayed with our 15 month old and we're very accommodating"
"The staff was helpful with a bag as we were on the 3rd floor. The benefit of the 3rd floor was the view of Monemvasia Island. The hotel is right by the bridge over to Monemvasia island. It is next to the bus station which saves some steps to the island. There are plenty of food options in the area. For us, this was more convenient than staying on the island and needing to carry bags on cobblestone streets and steps. "
"Our stay here was pleasant, though there were a few challenges. We had some difficulty with the gate at arrival, as instructions on how to enter were not clear, and we were also unsure where to leave the remote control upon departure. Additionally, it felt a bit misleading that there were no photos showing the farm animals on the property (cats, dogs, geese, chickens, horses, etc.), which are very much present. The biggest drawback was the barking dogs at night, which made it difficult to sleep.
The location is excellent—just a three-minute walk to the beach. The beach itself was clean with soft sand mixed with small pebbles that were easy on the feet. Beach beds were affordable, though many had visible stains, and the bar could benefit from offering a wider variety of snacks and food. That said, the mixed drinks were delicious, and prices were consistent with what we experienced throughout Greece.
One important note: the address is confusing on Google Maps. Entering the address shows a location on Elafonisos island, which is misleading, while searching by the property name brings you to the correct coastal location.
The home itself was very clean and well prepared. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like bottled water, coffee, creamer, and laundry pods.
Gyorgia was incredibly kind and hospitable, and her efforts made our stay enjoyable."
