"We really enjoyed our stay here. We had room 2 and it looks out over a beach parking lot and the beach. The pier is literally right there. The early morning fish market, and tons of restaurants and bars. Plenty to keep you going within walking distance.
The bed, the room, and over the top friendly and caring staff, it was all amazing. And each room is different.
Some things to know:
1. There is an elevator
2. Not sure how you can get to the continental breakfast in a wheel chair. There may be an elevator.
3. Room 1 and 2 have stairs inside the room (about three to four steps).
4. To get into the shower in rooms 1 and 2, you need to take quite a step down. This is larger than a regular step. That being said, I really liked the bathroom and shower - and it has a skylight.
5. If you are staying in a beach front room like we did, it gets pretty noisy at night. Bring some ear plugs. From the party goers in the parking lot to the fish delivery trucks and the farmers market set up on Sunday mornings, it was noise that I didn’t anticipate. Bring the ear plugs!
6. If you have to sleep in the dark, bring some eye shades. These are not room darkening window coverings.
7. We had the windows open to keep the room cool at night and ended up shutting them due to noise. And the air conditioning minimum temp is set at 69 or something. So if you are traveling with a polar bear (someone who sleeps in the cold), just beware.
