Rapos Resort Hotel

"Beautiful beachfront location in Himarë, crystal-clear water, and very friendly staff. The manager, front desk, and service team were all welcoming and pleasant. Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels quite dated and poorly maintained. Our room was very small, the shower leaked, some bathroom tiles were broken, and the oversized wooden platform around the bed made the already-small room feel even tighter. WiFi was also very poor and did not properly reach the second floor. Breakfast was disappointing, with some old-looking fruit and generally uninspiring food. The omelette station was not properly prepared and took about 30 minutes before they were ready to start cooking eggs. Food we ordered at the hotel beach club arrived cold and was tasteless. There were also many mosquitoes around the property. The beach and location are lovely, and the staff are kind, but the hotel needs much better upkeep, food quality, and attention to detail."

"I was genuinely confused by the mixed reviews, so wasn’t sure whether to book, but I’m so glad I did The hotel was conceptually fascinating and a surreal experience. The village is literally the hotel, this declining village was rescued and converted. The staff were incredible. I think my room was upgraded for free because I got a better room than the one I paid for. A great experience and amazing pool and spa! I did not eat at the restaurant so cannot comment on that."

"Really lovely hotel in a great spot. I so glad I choose to book here. Fabulous spot, very comfy beds, staff cannot do enough for you and a great addition that there is free use of sun loungers and a spa. I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely choose a sea view room, if possible on a higher floor."

"Cannot fault this place at all, it’s absolutely wonderful. Stayed for four nights. Staff were incredibly welcoming and smiley, on hand 24/7 to help with anything. Room was immaculate with everything you could need, air-con was a godsend! Lovely balcony to sit out on in the morning with a coffee. The pool area was fantastic, not the biggest but that made it more cosy, felt more like a private pool at times! It was really peaceful and quiet. Great location as it’s set back from the main road so it’s nice and quiet but within a 5 minute walk you’re in a beach bar on the front. Some nice restaurants within a stones throw from the hotel front door and about 15 minute walk to the main strip of bars and restaurants. This hotel will be even better once the rooftop bar/restaurant opens next year but don’t let that put you off trying it now, it’s a gem of a place and if you go to Himarë this is absolutely the hotel to stay at 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟"
