"Beautiful property with exquisite furniture. The beds were very comfortable. A wide array of fruits, meat, cheese, pastries, cereal, yogurt, and eggs were offered at breakfast. Parking on property is limited so reserve ahead. A wonderful place to stay when visiting Colares and Sintra!"

"Camera decisamente da ristrutturare ma pulita e comoda, con tutto l'indispensabile. Hotel carino, vista bellissima proprio sull'oceano e personale super super cortese e disponibile. La receptionist è il vero valore aggiunto della struttura, una persona efficiente e molto sorridente. Ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Prezzo eccellente e colazione buonissima. "Ein 5 Sterne Hotel trifft auf den vorgefunden en sozialistischen Betonbau nicht ganz zu. Es fanden überall Bauarbeiten inkl Gerüste auch neben unserem Balkon statt. Die Geräusche des Presslufthammers ließen uns bereits morgens die Flucht ergreifen. Am Abend mussten wir feststellen, dass die Aussenpools teilweise geleert wurden und Reparaturmassnahmen stattfanden. Am 2. Tag wurde sogar die Lobby teilweise gesperrt und teilweise Fliesen aus dem Boden geschlagen. Warum werden solche Arbeiten nicht...

"A delightful find in Sintra. Ne need to stay at a big name hotel when this boutique place has EVERYTHING. We got the least expensive room since ours was a shot stay. We were assigned a charming room in the former wine cellar. No elevator and we were prepared to carry our suitcases downstairs but the staff insisted on doing it. "Such a gem and immaculate stay. All of the details you expect and more from a Bed and Breakfast. The house is well-maintained and appointed. I love the rooms' uniqueness and spaciousness. The bathroom details are fabulous with the plushest towels, robes, and soaps, and they provide washcloths, which aren't easy to come by in European hotels. "Getting to hotel was a challenge. Had to tell the police directing traffic that we were staying in the area otherwise they would diect you away. Room was big but show needed to be repaired, front desk knew and part ordered, would have been nice to know ahead of time. Water went all over the floor making it slippery. Staff were amazing and helpful. Parking is away from hotel and DOWN a steep hill. "
