"We chose this for laundry and kitchenette. Check in was great as was laundry. First impressions of room were poor as the kitchen was in need of door and drawer repairs. Missing knobs, doors that didnt close, damaged surface. But in fact the appliances worked well, stove, oven, newish fridge freezer and kettle. Its a nice quiet location. All taps did drip."

"We loved the Hotel Zed and only wished we could have stayed longer! There were only two things we didn't like: One, the very hard and large pillows on the beds, which need to be replaced or augmented with a smaller and softer choice. Two, the closing of the restaurant AND bar on Monday and Tuesday nights. I can understand the restaurant staff needing a day or two off, but not having a bar available was sad. It felt a little less like a vacation when we couldn't get a cocktail at the hotel...

"A great beachside location is the main feature of this hotel. Our room as clean and had a good view of the beach although obscured by trees and another of the building which was a little disappointing. Staff weren’t really too bothered when we spoke to them, only offering a penthouse for our second night at a higher fee. My husband enjoyed his dinner but mine was disappointing for the price paid. The beach bistro is nice for drinks and snacks with lovely firepits and comfortable chairs...
