"The Courtyard Marriott in Goleta ks a perfect hotel for anyone visiting UCSB. It is 5 min from anywhere around campus, shopping and food. The lobby and outdoor space is lovely for reading, working or relaxing. The WiFi is a bit up and down, but you can connect in the right spots. The rooms were spacious with comfy beds and updated bathrooms. The fitness room is well stocked and 24 hrs. The pool closes at 10pm as does most of the dining around the area. There are UCSB hiking/biking trails...

"This is my 2nd time staying here. Everything was clean and orderly. Most staff was super friendly and polite. Only 1 young woman at front desk was a little rude when I asked for a pool towel. She said to wait for it at the pool after she handed 3 towels to the person in front of me. I felt it to be rude and kind of discriminatory that she would not give me a towel but handed someone else 3 of them right before me. The breakfast options were good however, the hot food could use better...
