We left Hansar regretfully early, only to check into a competing resort that cost nearly double and delivered half the value. From start to finish, Hansar exceeded expectations.

The breakfast spread is phenomenal, covering flavors from three continents, and the bar is an absolute gem. It's so lively and inviting that even non-guests find themselves wandering in for a drink and a laugh.

"Most amazing place… no other resort in this area has the beachfront view and access like Palita. The beach is groomed every morning, and the sand is immaculate They have all sorts of things for guests to use such as beach cushions, life vests and even a surfboard! More quieter side of the beach but just steps away from so many restaurants, shops and bars. Perfect location for families, couples or solo guests.
Rooms very well maintained, comfortable, clean, and spacious. Can even book connecting rooms for multiple families. Breakfast included, made to order and every dish absolutely devious. The Restaurant had a huge selection and everything we tried was 10/10. Best and biggest pool in Koh Phangan!
The best part of this place was the people… The owners were on site every day making sure every detail was perfect. Going the extra mile every opportunity they had. All the workers were so kind and accommodating. It truly is like your second home. Can’t wait to go back with our family ❤️

"I booked this place without doing much research and with their being a 6/10 rating and only two reviews. It was risky but the photos looked lovely and I was looking for a place near Haad Rin beach. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip to Thailand so far. It is an oasis. Unreal location. Amazing vegan food. I didn’t want to leave at the end of my stay.
A couple things to note, this property requires you to take a water taxi or off road vehicle to access. That would’ve initially hindered me from booking but I think in the end, it created for a better experience.
While I really loved my time there, my only negative experience was with the bugs in the room. The villas are like mini tree houses and not fully sealed so I did have some ants, a worm, flys, and likely other bugs I didn’t see around the room. A mosquito net may provide an additional layer of comfort to those not used to sharing a space with little bugs. But I would do every mosquito bite over because the beautiful experience of staying on this property was well worth it.
I plan to be back someday. "
