"Housekeeping staff could not come back at a later time that day to clean the room, that was disappointing. The internet was soooo sllloooowww. The lady with the colorful eyeglasses helping out with the breakfast food was very nice and pleasant (sorry I didn’t get her name). The front desk personnel were also friendly."

"When our initial room didn't have much of a window, the staff was very helpful and quickly switched us to an available room with a balcony for a nominal fee. The place has a cool retro beach-motel vibe, which some may enjoy more than others but we liked. Despite the meh weather, the attached pub was pretty lively for dinner with a nice outside seating area and I'm sure that during the summer the whole place and attached small beach are very lively. "Our room was clean, which is about the only positive I can say. The neighborhood is very industrial, sometimes scary. The hotel is right next to a cannabis facility. One of the elevators didn't work the whole weekend. The wait was about 8 minutes in the morning to try to get to the lobby with the one existing elevator The advertised pool has been filled in. "When we booked one of the big draws was the pool. However upon arrival we were told it is closed for maintenance. My plans had changed for vacation so I booked an extra day and when I checked in I informed the front desk person of this. Was told you will need to leave the room at checkout time and come back at check in time.
