The grounds of the hotel are uniquely attractive, there being many pathways and multiple pools and at night attractive lighting. And then the beach is right there along with classic Palm trees making an overall alluring setting."

"It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. When I was there there's was lots of construction; and there's also plenty of "banging" noise, which I think comes from something that falls out of the trees onto the tin roof of the rooms; that could be a...

"Great location, walking distance to town and the bus. Room was very clean. Had a refrigerator and AC. There was a hammock outside on the porch. The backyard is simple with a picnic table and chairs and a small outdoor kitchen had fun watching the squirrels run back-and-forth in the morning"
