"Rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Staff were all lovely and nothings too much trouble the restaurant toilets were immaculate as well. The wee floor mat outside the room bathroom needs renewing. Overall a quiet resort and a great nights sleep."

"We had a fantastic time here. The rooms are excellent, comfortable beds with good showers. Beds are cleaned daily which was a nice surprise, cleanliness was a big plus point of this hotel. There are 2 pools guests can use and are close to the bar/restaurant which has well priced drinks and great barmen/waiters. In fact, all staff are extremely helpful and polite. "Alagoa is a lovely resort. Family friendly and also relaxing for a solo trip. For India this resort has good cleanliness & I would certainly recommend. It’s a 5 minute walk from the beach which is a beautiful spot to relax in. Down side is the taxis are expensive and will do all they can to rip you off. Be prepared for a haggle war! Everything else is wonderful! "

"The villa that we booked and paid for was denied us. There were 2 men sitting cross legged eating their curry on the floor when we arrived and they said they knew nothing of our booking. Just within the check in time the builder/ owner turned up and said the booking was cancelled by the supplier and we would be refunded. He was callous and unapologetic. "Spotless, large, modern, and luminous - the Mistral is a great place to stay if you find yourself in this beautiful part of South Goa. Kathleen and her Dad run a great operation that's only a five minute walk from the beach and close to shops and the main village. Highly recommended! "
