The downside is the hotel was in the middle of a strip mall which was not obvious in the photos. The river was nowhere in sight as it was across the road from the strip mall and so our view was the parking lot and corporate stores. "This is an old traditional Irish house right by the water. While the decor might remind you of your grandma's place, it’s important to appreciate the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but there’s an extra toilet in the hallway, which is excellent for families. The views are stunning, and the owner is incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy breakfast because it’s served starting at 8 AM, and we wanted to make the most of our time...

"Beautiful “hotel” in a great location. The suite we stayed in was incredibly spacious and very beautiful. We did have some issues with the hot water and one of the showers not draining but overall it was a great stay."

"The rooms where very nice, I would be careful if you don't do stairs. There are plenty, even in the bathroom. We did enjoy the complimentary breakfast and dinner. The town did not have a lot of dinner options. Very close to Nothern Ireland attractions."

"Arriving after 10pm only find our room which had been booked months before had been temporarily allocated to a wedding party that morning and their stuff was still in the room and had no idea who owned it. NOT IMPRESSED . Need I say more after having travelled 1/2 way round the world to arrive with that situation Hotel was reported as full but staff did find another room for us Front desk we dealt with were helpful"

"The rooms were excellent and the surrounding area was great for an evening walk around the golf course. The restraunt and bar being onsite meant that we didn't have to go searching for somewhere in the local area. Breakfast was superb with a wide choice. A great place to stay close to Coleraine and the north coast. I really recommend it."
